mouse doesn't work in mediaportal (1 Viewer)

I started logging then media portal but I must have missed the place where you upload the log. Basically, I just don't seem to have any mouse support. I don't know if your mouse is supposed to work in this program or not. I sure hope so because I can't access the keyboard. I'm disabled and I am dependent on Dragon NaturallySpeaking to enter text or perform keyboard functions. By saying tab, right arrow, or enter, I was able to navigate the program enough to get through setup and exit.

I have one of those Microsoft remote controls but it's not accessible to me either. Please tell me I should be able to navigate this program with my mouse and speech to text and there's just something wrong with my install or configuration.

Thank you for any help you can give me. From what I've read this is a really great program!

Mouse should work out of the box.

If your mouse keeps scrolling the menu's, you can find a fix if you do a search on the forum.
