When you have movies on a remote server and is not online, the bowse of the movies take ages, it get stack and you need to wait the timeout (I gess). The worse part is that you have to wait for it every time you open the view, it does not remember that is offline.

Thanks for the report. This is the main reason GUI browsing is sometimes a bit slow. I have plans to fix this with our next major release (which should come out around the same time as MediaPortal 1.2 Beta). Sorry for the inconvenience.

I have recently separated my movie library from MediaPortal machine, and noticed that when the movie library is asleep. Happy to hear that it will be fixed soon.

I've installed v1.2.1.1264 and doesn't freeze anymore, but if you try to browse movies while NAS is down, it takes about 6 seconds to display the list of movies. I think this is due to Moving Pictures querying the import paths.

You are correct. A fix for this was intended for 1.2 but it never made it in, sorry. :( Will try to get it in a bug fix release, 1.2.2 maybe.
