Hi all!

So I've downloaded the latest RC2 and installed it.
I forgot to backup my movie database so I started scanning again.
Since I speak dutch, I use moviemeter as a source..
Some xvids import fine but others don't and you need to enter the name correctly (for example 21-CD1)
However, i have about 200 XviD's so I get a crash because there are so many files that need to be corrected.
If I cancel after a few files have been scanned, I get that screen and if I click "find", "downloading movie details" doesn't work.

Also, if I manually add 21-CD1 & 21-CD2, Movie info is downloaded correctly but the next time I scan my HD, it wants to redownload
the movie.

erm... so the scan works, but you have to change names manually bedcause 21-CD1 is not recognized as the series "21".

so at which step do you think that it is "broken" again?

if you are going to describe the "broken" part in detail, then follow the guideline please, and attach logs which were created while encountering the "broken part".

    :D

    I don't get logs, because it doesn't crash ;)
But here's the issue in screenies:
1/ I open up the configuration and go to movie database --> screenie1 (all settings gone)
2/ After reselecting moviemeter, I go to the Scan tab and select my XviD harddrive + "skip files already in db" --> screenie2
3/ Now it starts scanning and searching, if I let it finish my 200 xvid's, it crashes --> probably because too many files have conflicts (this takes too long to redo, but it has been an issue in the past as well) --> screenie3b
4/ So I cancel after a few files and then press "find" in the movie conflicts screen --> screenie3
5/ It starts searching moviemeter but times out

    Hope this clears things up?

erm.... logs are created constantly, not after a crash only. ;)

all you have to do to export them is to push the "MediaPortal Logs Collector" Shortcut in the windows start menu, after you reproduced the issue. ;)

btw. in Step3 you do say that it crashes.....

Okay, so I've recreated the problem: 21-CD1 & 21-CD2 were already in my database, but were added again by MP
The settings as described before were also resetted
    => logs attached

I'll try to recreate the crash as well ;)

Moviemeter just doesn't work well, I had the same problems with 0.2.3.0. So I switched to IMDB (english)...
I guess it's related to moviemeter. When I added 10 movies (example), the first 5 were found and the remaining 5 timed out.
It doesn't matter if movies are imported using the config util or mediaportal shares view.
