Movies now starting in mini window (1 Viewer)

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction with this issue that has started occurring today; when I play a movie, instead of playing full screen, it plays in the mini window in the top left of the screen - like when you're watching something and press back rather than stop...

How can I get them to start full screen as usual? Nothing has changed setup wise or been updated overnight. I've tried a reboot and the issue is still there.

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks for the reply - I just returned home to collect the logs as you asked, however it's now starting movies in full screen all the time as it used to. How odd that it was just acting weird for a day.
