Movies on optical disks, just insert and play possible? (1 Viewer)

Hi, excuse my ignorance but if im not concerned with importing fanart etc for my dvd movies, is there a way to have a view or anyother way way to see an inserted dvd in moving pictures. I mean i have houndreds of dvd's that i havnt ripped to disk yet and would like to just insert one and watch in Moving Pictures ( i have the standard My Movies plugin disabled as this confused the missus and kids) without importing them through the configuration?

Why can't you re-enable the MyMovies plugin, and place it inside 'plugins' folder instead of Home. And then enable the MediaPortal MyVideos option "immediatly play DVDs"?

if you use basic home, you can customise it so you don't see any unused plugins.
