Moving picture wont play video only sound (1 Viewer)

Hi All

This my first post ever, I have been playing around with the Moving Pictures Plugin for a few weeks after only just discovering it, looks really cool. I was using for a while and all looked and worked well but now it wont play the movies correctly.

When I select the movie the screen freeze and I soon hear the sound track but all I see is the Moving Pictures screen, If I hit the stop button it stops playing and the screen unfreezes, its almost like the player fires up in the background under media portal, but I can't bring it to the forground.

I am using Power DVD for Blue-Ray (HD) connent and that works okay it bring PD up start the movie. Playing movie from my video works too, an the "MY TV Series" works perfectly

Any idea's on what the issue may be?

Any help would be most appeciated.

Thanks for the suggestion, I actually used it to setup the plug in, I might try and change the loging level to Debug and see if it generates any information that might be helpful

try disabling the dynamic refresh rate changes see if that fixes the problem. (If it fixes the problem you might need to add a delay post refresh change using a .bat file, or use the device reset option)

Thanks for the sugestion, dynamic refresh seems to be turned off already, tries enable it but I got the same results.

I have noticed however that I get the same issue when trying to play a DVD. I may have to rebuild the machine or something, It was all working okay before, The only thing that plays videos correctly is the TV-Series plugin, not sure if it has anything to do with that.

Try running MP in windowed mode + disable always on top.
Then use graphedit to view the graph under My Videos vs' Moving Pictures

Thanks again but I think I have solved it, I got sick of it and remove media portal and reinstalled. I think is has something to do with the skin installed buy the TV-Series plug-in, although that's only a guess.

I install reinstalled moving pictures last of all this time around and its all working.
