I've installed Moving Pictures 0.6.1 on MP 1.0 RC4
After thet My MP is very slow, the menus are slow and my CPU runs at 90%....

I've tried with Moving Pictures 0.5.5 and no problem, MP is fast and great as usual...
I don't now why but when Moving Pictures 0.6.1 is retrieving movie data from Internet, it takes 90% of CPU...
I'm using on firts allocine.fr script and Imdb on second (I've the new version of Imdb.xml)

And I have a second problem, some movies from my movie folder are not included in movies list. I've deletd the database file and do it from scratch, and again some movies are missing... I've about 40 movies in 2 differents folders. I've added both folder but I've 2 or 3 movies missing for both folder..

Anything to help me ?

I can't really say anything about the CPU issue.
As for the missing movies, make sure you have the correct file extensions added to the MediaPortal config (movies section)

I already have the last version (1.0.10) of the IMDB.xml
But with the new DLL (0.6.2) my cpu run at 50/60% now.

For the missing files, I only use MKV and AVI files. And I already have MKV and AVI files added to Moving Pictures.
The missing are MKV or AVI nothing. Where is the extension option? I didn't found it.

And I've not verified yesterday, but I have no backdrops or cover art. Only text details...
In the log file, it tells me that the cover image URL isn't correct.
All the movies I added have a backdrop on TheMovieDB.org and a cover art too.
But Moving pictures doesn't find anything...

Here an extract from my log file :

EDIT :

After many investigations, I think I know where is the problem.
I'm using Allocine.fr script as first script. And this script doesn't work properly, so my CPU became hot and cover art and backdrop are forgotten...
I switched to IMDB and now I have alla covers and backdrops...
But I'm french so many movies have a french name that can't be found on IMDB...

Hrmm. I think you are probably right I remember some performance issues with the allocine data provider. I have created an issue in our tracker to address this so hopefully with our next release you will see improved performance. If you have a Google account you can star the issues to receive email updates as progress is made. Sorry for the trouble KFaust.

Can I have the Allocine.fr script so I can try to fix it (and publish the new script) or have you a release planified in next few days that fix this pb ?

Of course. The latest versions of all the scripts are available here. The issue is scheduled to be fixed by the next release (in the next few weeks? Maybe around New Years?). But if you come up with something sooner, post it here and/or in the issue thread and we will get it integrated. And if you have any questions about the scripting language, let me know. Hopefully it is not too confusing, I think the most complicated part is the regex stuff.

Okay, this is fixed now.

New version of the script can be grabbed here:
http://tinyurl.com/8kja8v

Also I would recommend this updated IMPAwards script which will now retrieve more covers for movies with details pulled from allocine.fr:
http://tinyurl.com/7oocaj

You can load these script in via the Data Sources tab of the Movie Importer in the config screen. If you have any trouble let me know.

As for backdrops and covers, as I mentioned above, with the updated impawards script you should get better results, but it will still not be perfect (and you will still get no backdrops). Most of our artwork providers allow you to lookup artwork by the IMDb ID. OFDb and moviemeter.nl both provide an IMDb ID so this is not an issue for them. But with the allocine script there is no way to grab the IMDb ID, meaning all artwork has to be matched by the year and title, not very accurate.

So if you would like better artwork retrieval I would recommend first pulling everything by IMDb, and then in the Movie Manager highlight all movies in the list and then update details from Allocine to get French summaries, titles, etc. I know this is a bit of a pain and not nearly as automated as it should be, but it is a temporary work around to get both a full set of artwork and French details.

Good luck.
