Hi
I am quite new to mediaportal after defecting from Media center.
So far the journey has been painful, but making progress, and absolutely delighted with Mediaportal and all its options.
I only have a few small issues to resolve, and one is with Moving pictures hogging 100% of disc drive when media portal is started up
This happens for about 5 mins, then gradually dies down, and happens every time media portal is started. i dont have the problem when resuming from sleep.
obviously what this does is make mediaportal unusable while this is happening.
I checked disc activity in performance monitor, and it is "system" which is accessing each of my recordings in my movie folder two or three at a time (100,000,000 B/s).
If I kill mediaportal, this activity continues.
If I disable Moving Pictures plugin then I get a normal start up every time!
My movies are from Media center and in .wtv not .ts file format, is this the problem?
the plugin works fine, and retrieves all the data after importing the files.
I am running Windows 7 64bit, latest releases of mediaportal and plugins.
StreamedMP skin, and several other plugins!
If anyone can help I would be very greatful, and can post any logs (if you tell me what you want and how I can get them
I could of course just not use Moving pictures, but what I have seen of it it is superb, so I dont want to do that
