Roight now I use MyMovies movie manager to keep a catalogue of my ripped movies on my main workstation. I have 3 HTPC boxes running Mediaportal and moving pictures. I am having a tough time keeping all of the movie data the same across HTPCs using the built in moving pictures metat grabber. Is there a way to make MovingPictures look at the xml file by default? That way I could just worry about maintianing the one MyMovies metadata and the rest would pick it up.

If you make "mymovies.xml (Local) " the only data provider this is no problem at all..
Unless the xml you are talking about is the single big file then you have to create a copy of the default mymovies.xml scraper and point it to the single xml file instead.
