    Hi,

For the last few days I was struggling with stuttering TV and video playback.
    link

I suspected number of things (network, timeshift drive, TV tuner, HDMI audio output and many more) but finally I found correlation in timing. The stuttering apeared only in the first few minutes of TV playback. This period was full of "[Info.][MediaScanner(24)]: SQLiteClient: Closing database: VideoDatabaseV5.db3" notifications in MP log. I started to turn off plugins one by one. The issue was present only with MovingPictures running. When it's off playback is smooth.

Can anyone examine this issue, plz? Logs attached in the linked post above.
I really would like to have MovingPictures in my setup.

    Cheers,
    kesar

AW: Moving Pictures and TV playback conflict / issue

    Hello!
In your log I see a lot of "Movie Importer" activity which can cause bad performance at the start.

    e.g.
    ..............
20-Jan-2012 13:20:14 Info [ MovieImporter]: No exact match for No Laughing.avi
20-Jan-2012 13:20:15 Info [ MovieImporter]: No exact match for Rabies Scare.avi
20-Jan-2012 13:20:15 Info [ MovieImporter]: No exact match for Patients Patients.avi
20-Jan-2012 13:20:15 Info [ MovieImporter]: No exact match for Radio Sweethearts.avi
    ...............

Else you can try to replace your mediainfo.dll with the one in this thread: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/moving-pictures-284/mediaportal-freezes-after-clean-install-mediaportal-moving-pictures-98797/#post812628

But should the Movie Importer work at all? I have automatic update turned off. I don't get it.
I'll try the new dll. Thank you, Holzi.
