Moving Pictures IMDB Rating (1 Viewer)

Hi guys!

I am using the Moving Pictures plugin on my mediacenter. And upon until recently it has collected the IMDB.com rating on all movies, but it has now suddenly stopped. It downloads cover arts and description on movies.

Data Source is set on "Auto" and in English.

Please help anyone? It looked so much better when the ratings worked.

Sorry for the slow reply Distun. Unfortunately I can not reproduce this problem though. Can you give me a specific movie you are not getting ratings for?

Hi. No Problem for the late answer. I cant seem to make it work for any of my movies. Even tried to update the plugin to the latest version. uhm.... is there somekind of logs or something u need?

I got it figured out and I updated the script file. You will need to load this in via the Data Sources popup in the config:

1. Download the new IMDb script.
2. Open Moving Pictures config.
3. Click the "Manually Manage Data Sources" radio button.
4. Click the "Movie Details Data Sources" button.
5. On the popup expand the "+" toolbar button drop down.
6. Click "Add a new data source."
7. Navigate to the XML file you downloaded and select it.
8. Done!

This will of course also be included in the next release. Thanks for the report.

Well, it seems another problem came up. Now it dosnt seem to download the Fan Art from IMDB. I just get the default picture. I tried to see if i could choose the new xml file as backdrop resource. But i couldnt... I'm going to try and download a movie and see if the problem percist.

Seems like it was just that one movie that didnt download fanart. So everything works great now. Thanks for an awsome plugin!
