Moving Pictures vs' My Films (1 Viewer)

I find moving pictures easiest to use and is my choice over my films. the next v0.8 is supposed to allow categories. I ALSO use my films for things like documentaries that require manual intervention as there is often no automatic imdb link.

I have been using moving pictures for several years now (mostly because of the auto download of fanart & descriptions).
I had been looking forward to the .8 release for over 6 months due to the suposed inclution of the ability to group movie sequals, then upon release I found out that feature had not been included.

I was extremely dissapointed, especially since there was a patch available for .7 that allowed this feature (took some work to get the patch to work, but it was there) and now that patch will not work.

I have been wanting this feature since I started using moving pictures and I think it is time I gave My Films a serious try.
Here is my question to anyone who can answer it.
Is it possible to use my existing moving pictures DB in My films and if so, how would one go about doing that.

if it is I may still keep moving pictures simply for the auto downloading part, but use MyFilms for the advanced features.

I dont think thats possible. MF uses this software for creasting and updating DB:
