Hi all - my first post on here.. I'm a bit new to all this so please bear with me. Mods, apologies if this is in the wrong section...

So after a few hours of playing around, I think I've got everything how I want it... pretty much, anyway.

But I'd really like to have my TV Series plugin easily accessable from the initial menu, rather than have to go in through plugins. Is this possible? Also, I'm probably not going to be using MP for music... is it also possible to remove items from the initial menu?

Thanks in advance..

David

    Hi there and welcome :)

The answer to your question may vary depending on the skin you use. Various skins in the popular-skin-forum have menu editors for the basichome menu.

But let's for now assume you use Blue3 or Blue3Wide skin.
    There are two menu screens.
    Basichome - horizontal layout.
    Home - vertical layout.
You can switch between them by setting in MP Configuration.

Basichome menu - can only be changed by editing the basichome.xml skin file. Very complex, so rather stay away until you know xml and the skin syntax.
Home menu - each plugin can select if it should be in Plugin screen or in Home menu. Just rightclick plugin in MP Configuration.

    Hope that helps

Thanks, I had no idea about the rightclick thing in the plugins menu - works well.

Where would I find these menu editors - do they usually come with the skins?

Try StreamedMP, this has a good Editor, but also installs the most useful plugins as well, even if you decide not to use that skin, before you start editing checkout the default.

In configuration you can change plugins to show in home or plugins. If I have understood what you want just change this option for the series
