MP 1.0final with B&W 1.1 and still "skin outdated" warning (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I am really happy with the Skin. Unfortunately, I messed something up during the different updates of MP and B&W.
Currently, I am running MP 1.0final, B&W 1.1. Whatever version number I enter into the references.xml (tried 0.9.2.0 up to 1.1.1.1 and everything in between), every couple of MP starts I see the dreaded "skin outdated" warning with the option to check to not warn again. That does only help for another couple of starts, then it's back again.

What else can I do to get rid of this once and for all?

Hi,

I'm facing the same issue, it's weird.

I'm on a fresh install and the message didn't turned up before I edited the basichome.xml file (=> 2 rows of 3 icons).

Have you tried 1.0.0.0 ?

Most likely since you wrote "tried 0.9.2.0 up to 1.1.1.1 and everything in between" but I have to ask.

Check the references in another skin that does not give this error (ie Blue3), and write the same, just in case something is messed up (then you should ofc reinstall)

I have the same issue as OP but I'm using StreamedMP. Wondering if anyone solved it with the reference file or whatever. What did you do?

I did a fresh instal of MP and pasted my edited skin folder into it.

No outdated warning since... This is odd since the skin folder is exactly the same as before...

I had this issue with MP also one time when I was trying different skins, seems to be a MP bug. Luckily i had a backup from one day earlier and could reverse it in 10mins.

Have changed the skin version from 1.0.0.0 to 0.9.4.0 to 0.9.2.0 to 1.0.0.1 to 1.0.1 and still no joy. Any Ideas?

woddog - so you are using MP v1.0.0?
What is the full directory path to the references.xml file you changed?
Can you attach your logs please.

Rekenaar - Definately using MP 1.0.0 final and using 0.4.298 StreamedMP
c:\program files\team mediaportal\mediaportal\skin\streamedMP\references.xml
