See the attached screenshot. This problem ocurred when I attempted an update install from MP 1.36 x64, which had previously been successfully updated from 1.33 to 1.34 to 1.35 to 1.36. I ended up having to do a "Fresh Install" with MariaDB rerinstall and then do a complete new setup.(n)

I have just updated my production system by performing an upgrade install from MP 1.33 to MP 1.37. There were no problems with SQL (y) . However, I am using Windows 7, whereas I think that @joecrow is using Windows 11. Perhaps the installer does something different for Windows 10/11 compared to Windows 7?

Plz attach mysqlinst.log from temp folder ...
Log attached, but I think it is for the new install, not the failing one. I am using Win 11. Please note when I installed 1.33 x64 I manually downloaded and installed MariaDB ver 11.4 which has worked fine with all MP versions prior to 1.37. No idea if it is an issue but I saw that the version of MariaDB that gets loaded with a fresh install is 10.11.

Yes but as you can see that is indeed the new install of MariaDB ver. 10 not the original 11.4! Sorry but no other logs found.:(
