There is a known compatibility issue with the current version of the IFC plug-in (version 2.0.3), resulting in loss of control of MP e.g. you can't stop video playback (so MP has to be killed using Task Manager).
Hopefully the plugin developer will update it to work with MP 1.4.0 soon, but users should disable/uninstall it until that happens.
