MP 1.4.0 mkv play error (1 Viewer)

Hello,

upgrading from 1.3.0 to 1.4.0 I've made a clean install.
Everything ok but .mkv video playing.

Then the screen remains the same whatever I try, till I close MP.

I've tried reinstalling LAV filters, changing decoder in configuration, nothing worked.
If I try to enter LAV configuration I get an error (missing file), must I try an older version of LAV?
I've also reinstalled MP (not with uninstalling only reinstalling)

The .mkv's shows normally on WMP

HTPC is an old P4-3200MHz, on Win XP MCE2005, ATI Radeon HD4300 connected trough HDMI to a Phlilips 32pfl5062h_12

Tks, I've read it now.
Because I've tried only videos with subtitles I don't have thinked they are the problem.
The easy way to fix is downgrade to 1.3.0, I think.
I wanted to upgrade my HTPC and get a W7, but I crashed my motorbike and money goes there...
