    Hello everyone,

In an attempt to upgrade to MP 1.5, I have run into a problem. I did a fresh install of my windows 7 x64 Premium Home OS to a diskpart cleaned SSD (64gb) and then a clean install of MP 1.5. I have gone with 1.5 as 1.6 seems to have problems with using a remote control (see this https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/threads/eventghostplus.113463/page-16#post-1050669)

After the clean install, I went into the mediaportal config and selected the USB-UIRT under remote. I started to program buttons from my WMC RC6 remote control and when I try to program the back button (previous menu) the configuration crashes and closes.

Now I know you will ask for logs and I will get these, but ran out of time before heading for work. Can you tell me which logs would be the best to get? Should I try to run it in debug mode and then recreate the issue for logs?

Has anyone else had this issue?

    Thanks

    Hi Steve,

The EventGhost (and maybe more plugins were affected) issue is fixed (as you've read already) ;)

Can you tell me which logs would be the best to get? Should I try to run it in debug mode and then recreate the issue for logs?
Yes please, run debug mode and then just zip up the folder.

HomeY to the rescue. Thanks. Since it looks like things in MP 1.6 have been fixed, I think I'll give this a shot with a clean install and then try to use my USB-UIRT and if it crashes again will post logs. Should I start a different thread if I am using 1.6?

OK I recreated the problem in MP 1.6 and posted it in the link you provided.

Thanks for the direction. Hopefully there will be a fix soon. MP without a remote is pretty hard on the family.
