MP 1.6 Final lastfm is not working for me (1 Viewer)

I have downloaded and installed MP 1.6 on a Windows 8.1 64 bits platform. I have not been able to make lastfm plugin work. I always get the message
'The Webservices API key supplied does not have permission to stream / create new radio trials'

I have a free account and I log in through VPN, because I am from Spain.

I have tried to create a new user from the start, I have tried to connect through UK, Germany, USA with identical outcome.

When I connect lastfm website via PC I can see that MP app is connected to the service, but the songs played in MP are not shown. That would prove that scrobbling is not working for me in MP.

Of course I have been reading the thread of lastfm development and I have read that some users had a similar problem, but I do not know if they could solve it in any way.

I also just installed MP 1.6 (update from 1.5). So far everything works fine - except Last.fm. I have an account, and it was verified during configuration. I tried to add Last.fm to the menu (Titan), but when I click it - nothing happens, and MP returns to the home screen. I also found Last.fm as an option on my Radio menu, but again - nothing happens when I click it.

Any suggestions?

Also tried different skins (in case of some xml issues), but same result ...

Same here,

Went to my profile on lastfm site, which works fine still. Nothing changed there.
And my tablet lastfm app works fine also.
Hmmm, a strange one for sure.

Isn't window 7890 Last.fm? The XML file is there ....

Thank you. But according to the wiki,

Scrobbling (Last.FM account needed but no subscription)
The scrobbling side has been rewritten from scratch:

• Announce now playing track on Last.FM website
• Scrobbling tracks when played
• Love and Ban functionality

Currently none of these actions can be done with my free account. I always get the message
