Mp 2.0.3 update stopped my other media players from working? (1 Viewer)

since i updated to ver 2.0.3 a week or so ago
all my other players like WPM9/10 media player classic no longer play many files

i keep getting the error " the source filter for this file could not be loaded " in both players. ( i get this with .dat, .ts ect )

everything was working fine before and im using ffdshow, nvidia purevideo
all movies are working fine in MP however.

sometimes thoguh i test some files quick in other players before moving them to my main MP movie folder.

IF anyone can help would be great

Media player classic has it own built in decoders (totally freestanding) if that is not working you have got a screwed system.
Uninstall MPC, and then reinstall to see if that solves that problem.
ps run a upto date virus checker, and antispyware.

Please be aware that if you install MP with MPA and MPV codecs they will override NVIDIA PureVideo when using Mediaplayer 9/10 since the MPV and MPA merit values are set very high(higher than NVIDIAs default).

I have told the MP developers about the merit problem but they just told me to contact the developers of the MPV and MPA codecs they are using.

So.. Use RadLight filter manager and check the merit values and maybe you can get your Nvidia PureVideo to work again.

Hopefully the MP developers can get hold of the codec developers and get them to fix their problems.
