MP Audio Renderer mutes after TV pause (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I'm using the MP Audio Renderer and I have to say its got one feature that I've been wanting for ages - the ability to turn all the audio into an AC3 stream. That means I only have to use my Amp volume control now for consistent volume levels!

One problem though. When I unpause live TV, there is no sound. I have to rewind a touch to get it to kick off again?

As I said, I'm using the AC3 encode option.

Any ideas?

Hi tourettes, thanks for the reply. I'll check the wiki for how to get logs off the system, but do I need to cause the error and then give you just a snapshot of the log from that period.

Hey, sorry for the delay! It took a while to get a moment without the wife and kids using the TV to try debug mode. When I finally set debug mode, I couldn't get it to go wrong straight away! It seems that restarting MP cures the problem for about 30 minutes. Anyway, I now have logs of it going wrong. Would you like the audiorenderer.log or the mediaportal.log?

    Thanks

    Hi

Here's the attached logs. Please let me know if you need any more. As I said, unfortunately it took me around 30 minutes of initializing debug mode for the issue to appear. When it did appear, I closed down MP within approx 1 minute.

Unfortunately both logs are looking good. There is no trace of any issues, so not much that can be done at the moment. There is currently some work being done with improved A/V sync handling - hopefully that will help in the future MPAR versions for the issues you are seeing.

Thanks for taking the time to look. If I notice anything helpful, I'll post it.
