MP auto-deleting TV Recordings? (2 Viewers)

Hi Everyone,

I have MP 0.2.3 RC3 running TVEngine 2.

My harddisk has only appox. 22GB of space left.
Will MP start to delete old recordings manually (I don't want that!!!).
I have disabled all plugins named like "TV Episode Cleanup".

But do I have to make any other settings to avoid auto-deletion?
If my HDD is full, I just want MP to give me an error message, but I defintatively want to keep the stuff I have already recorded!

I check free HDD space from time to time in Windows Explorer: it seems to remain at 21,9 GB => that's why I'm getting the impression that someting is auto-deleted!

By the way: Is there a plugin that shows me the remaining free HDD space?

check in the config for recording options, where the settings are for low disk space issues. I haven't used TV2 for a while so cant remember exactly, but there is a part where you select what actions to take for when the disk space runs out. Your's may be set fo 22G possibly?

The other thing, which may take some time, is to change the actions on each recorded program ffrom delete "When space needed" to "Never". This will either mean editing the data base or changing each show manually through the recording menu.

Bear in mind too, that Windows handles large files pretty badly, so when you get down to very low files space your disk will be so fragmented that the recordings will get very jumpy. You may need to schedule regular defrags, but then again, defrag won't work if there isn't enough space.

today i encountered EXACTLY the same issue out of nowhere.
108GB free discspace and TV-Server did this:

this never occured befor. not sure yet why this ossurs now......
