It seems that MP when running block the IR remote (MCE or MCE compatible) to send commands to the external players.
This happens with both ZoomPlayer or KMPlayer.
When the player is "focus on" and in back is running MP the IR commands are recived always by MP only.
Note: the options MP always on TOP is "DISABLED"
I verified that enabling or disabling this option don't change nothing.

My case (ANTEC) have an IR reciver by soundgraph and it's MCE compatible.
In reality it's verified that the IR simply simulate keyboard keystrokes.
So I'm able to verify on the panel which kystroke is simulated pressing a key on IR remote.
When running only the external player (zoomplayer or KMplayer) the IR works perfectly
And the same perfect behaviour it's verified when runnign MP only.
The problem happens when the external player is running and it's running also MP only.
So this problem is related to MP not to IR driver or somthing else.

The problem occur both if the external player is launched by MP or not.
It happens also if MP is launched after that the external player is running.

This problem have been verified also by other users using different HW so it's easy replicable.

found now that this bug don't shows up anymore avoiding to use "superspeed mode" in KMplayer.
I'm thinkingh that this can be related to players that are using HW accelration (in standard mode KM player disable HW accelaration).

Therefore using KM player in this way (that is using standard mode = no HW acceleration), after clingin KMplayer, MP stop to respond to any keystroke or IR command (require closing the service with CTRL+AT+ CANC)
So the bug seems to be reduced using standard mode in Kmplayer but im some way is still present
