    Hi,

when i let start mp with windows it brings a error msg that it could not run, i should start 16/32 bit display mode.

Is MP started too early? Dont know if logs would help, if so i will add them later, when i am home.

    Anyone has a clue?

Ive had some problems with this as well.. About 1/5 times MP managed to start to early and I got some graphics error because it actually launched before the gfx drivers was loaded completely(my htpc is too fast :p). Solved it by putting on a 15 sec delay on MP start. Doesnt matter much as I don't even see the countdown.

You can do that in MP config.

Hm, did install the latest beta driver. Might the problem, have to test that. Otherwise i will use the delay. Dont know it this will be too long for standby, as i let mp restart after it. Thank you anway for the fast reply.

    @ Flokel

I can't remember excactly what my error was.. some opengl error I think. The thing was by the time I saw my desktop, MP was all ready finished loading up, so I saw my wallpaper for only a few secs before MP I saw my basic home. This worked most of the time but sometimes it halted with that opengl(or some 3d) error. I never had this problem untill I upgraded my htpc tho, MP used to take like 30-40 secs to launch before, now its 10 I think(+ the 15 sec delay I put up).

In my case its probably 6 months old stable nvidia drivers, not at home for a couple of weeks so I can't really reproduce the error or check the version of the driver.
