Hey folks,

first a big thx to the hard worker on the mp-projekt. loving it.

I have a little problem with my mp at the moment. whenever i start my mp with the audioscrobbler-plugin it crashes as soon as I start a mp3 or ogg-file. both with the standard- and my favourite x-factor-skin. if I diable audioscrobbler and the last.fm-plugins all works fine.

until now I couldn't fix the error and I would appreciate it a lot of someone else can have a look at my log-files and give me a hint.

thx a lot.

:D

Your machine is connected to the internet ok?
    This happens with all tracks?
I see you have PureAudio and WMP plugins installed, if you disable these do you get the errors?

I have not seen this one but it should not crash MP either way.... Your logs are not in debug mode so there is very little info there.

AW: MP crashes cause of Audioscrobbler

    hey folks,

i disabled the wmp- and pulseadio-plugin - same error. mp crashes or is looping part of the song forever (plays the first 3 to 5 seconds of the song and restarts again).
    any hint?
    thx!

attached the new log-files (hopefully in the debug-mode. if not plz tell me how to obtain them)

Could you test if the following DLL fixes the issue?

AW: Re: MP crashes cause of Audioscrobbler

    thx a lot.

the new dll fixes the problem. audioscrobbler is transmitting the played songs without crashing mp and last.fm works as it supposed to be.
    great work.

thumbs up ;o) especially for the very fast response.
