Hi,

second problem with my second HTPC is, that he crashes sometimes if i try to watch channels.

The channels are "ZDF_neo" and "EINSFestival" - ZDF HD.
After ALT-CRLT ENTF - Finish MP - restarting MP - the Problems comes again and i had to restart the hole System.
So there are two logfiles. First Crash and second crash.

    Hi

The issue appears to cause or trigger a networking crash:

2011-05-31 17:07:52.616147 [(34)]: card: unable to connect to slave controller at:Eltern-HTPC

I will look into this more closely when I get home...

Ich verstehe die Frage so "Reagiert das MP noch?"

The answer is - no - i can hear "click" but the MP does not do something.
    In Task Manager "No Reaction"

Ok, then we have the same symptom (restart required).

    Hi folks

I happened to be going back through the 1.2.0b bug reports when I saw this thread. I'm sorry that I didn't get back to you. :sorry:

So, I have looked at the logs in more depth and I can't see anything more than the connection error that I noticed earlier. It seems that a networking connection failure between MP [client] and TV Server caused TV Server to lock up, and this in turn caused MP to hang. Tell me - are you using wireless or wired networking? Are you able to try using the loopback adapter (instructions are in the wiki -->here<-- under the topic "I have problems with my LAN/WLAN configuration. What can I do if I want to use single seat only?")?
