When I start a bluray iso, sometimes MediaPortal crashes. If I go through the list of my movies and start one after another, it will crash randomly. This is 100% reproducible, but everytime with a different movie.

Please see attached logs, where it crashed after starting the last bluray at 2011-09-25 14:50.

    Anyone knows, what could help?

can anyone help out in how to get a call stack backtrace, to see where the MediaPortal process is crashing?

    Regards,

    @alexirio,

LAV Audio can't work with MP Audio Renderer, can you try with FFDShow Audio or without MP Audio Renderer.
It will not solve all issues but first can you retry and post log :)

    Hello Sebastiii,

why do you think I use MP Audio Renderer?? "Default DirectSound Device" was used as Audio Renderer.

    From MediaPortal.log:
2011-09-25 14:50:00.213062 [Debug][MPMain(1)]: DirectShowUtils: added filter:Default DirectSound Device to graph

    Hey Alex,

Yep sorry it's because i have look AudioRenderer.log but effectively you didn't use it for latest log (25/09).
I will try to setup a new binaries for testing :)

Ok, sounds good. Let me know, if you have something... I think I have this bug as long as I use the internal player for BDs, also with FFDShow before LAV.

The crash happens after selecting from the BD Handler feature list, but it's really random, when it happens - sometimes I can start almost 20 BDs and sometimes it crashes after only starting a few BDs. Besides this, playing of the BDs work fine, there is never a crash, when playing has successfully started.

I wonder a bit, if I'm the only one that has such issues?? But good thing is, that the bug is good reproducible, so with the right log messages we should be able to track it down.

Uuups, I just saw your new version "BDHandler1.2.1Final_(0.9.7.29).mpe1" from yesterday, installed it and was not able to reproduce the crash anymore! Can't believe!
Will see, if it still continues to work, when I have a vistor for watching a movie ... ;-))

    Great work!
