MP crashes (1 Viewer)

Just installed MP for the first time on my Win. MCE 2002 with all updates and service packs. When i installed it, it detected my Kworld USB tuner and scanned and found channels. But not when I open the program and try to set up the TV, it crashes. I didn't install any drivers or anything as it seemed to detect everything OK. All I did was the basic download and install. Is there something else to install?
