This has been happening for a couple of MP versions now (since 1.0). If I try and FF or REW videos (avi, mkv) with my remote my computer just hard reboots without warning.
It does not happen with TMT3, using MP for DVD's or doing any other task.
The system is very stable outside of FF or REW.
I did a fresh install of Vista SP2 and MP with no change. I then tried Win 7 and it happens on that platform too.
Before 1.0 I never had this issue. At first I just thought it was a bad install or a corrupt OS, but that proved false.
Hardware issues would have shown up in other then this very specific instance.
I can't see it being the splitter as I use Windows built in for avi and Haali for mkv. Maybe ffdshow? Never had an issue before with it.
I searched the forums and can't find a single instance like this. Has anyone heard of this happening?
Any thoughts on what could be causing it?
