MP Crop Feature not working anymore ? (1 Viewer)

Hi

A few weeks ago the internal Mediaportal Crop Feature was introduced.
I was very happy about this Feature, because i didn't have to use FFDShow
postprocessing for croping anymore. But in the latest svn it did not work
anymore for me. Is there something wrong with my config, or is it still under
developement ? I read something that a "croping per tv card" should be
implemented ?

Hi,
Using: MP 0.2.0.0 + svn--09-21-2006--01-32-Rev10399

The crop function works perfect here (& have at least the last week), on all my cards & it is now a per card setting which is good.
Try to post your config & logs so we can see whats wrong.

Hi,

thx for your reply. I tested it with Vanessas 3DMP Skin, and the last days
with MCE Skin. I will try it this evening with BlueTwo and latest SVN. In my
config is only ONE crop setting, and i can not see that this for different cards.
Since the svn version where you got the filter options under the crop settings
it did not work anymore.

You can use it when in Fullscreen TV & you will find the setup for crop in context menu.

The regular setup still has to be reworked, and the global settings under television -> post-processing are useless currently. The only way to configure them currently is instantly via TV fullscreen -> context menu -> crop settings. You configure the crop settings there for the tvcard that's been used for viewing at that point. I'll rework the regular setup in the near future so you can configure it on a per-card basis via television -> capturecards -> edit.

this cropping feature sounds really great.

does it affect the recordings as well?

I hardly ever watch "live" tv, I record a lot and watch it later skipping the commercials.

Yup,

the new crop feature also now "remembers" on what tvcard the recording was being made and will use the crop settings for that card.

FYI,

As of SVN revision 10412 the global crop settings (setup->television->post-processing) have been removed. The settings on a per-card basis can now also be configured via setup->television->capture cards->edit your card->"Capture Card" tab.

Thx guys

I have allways tried to setup the crop values in config.
Now with blue two skin , i can setup the values in fullscreen.
I tested this before with other skins, but nothing happens.
This is now a very very great feature, i've been waiting for
so long.
