MP db hard coded to C:\? (1 Viewer)

I have tweaked my Windows install so things go to D:\ProgramData\ instead of C:\ProgramData, this works with other applications but it seems my install of MediaPortal 1.2.2 is hard coded to put things in C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\ because that's where the dbs are going.

In D:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\ there is a "log" directory so some of it is going there, but I need the dbs there also so an image resotre won't wipe them. I jsut installed MovingPictures and it ended up in C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\ as well.

Someone once mentioned that this may be changed in a config file somewhere. Anyone know how I do that, or is there something else I can do?

Thanks for the help,

Jeff

    Hi there :)

Those are stored in MediaPortalDirs.xml located in the Program Files directory.
Please note, if you want to retain your custom locations on future upgrades, you need to store it in MyDocs.

You need to create a folder in your MyDocuments called "Team MediaPortal" and put your customized MediaPortalDirs.xml there. For example, you will then have C:\Users\htpc\Documents\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortalDirs.xml (yours will probably be on D)

Thanks rekenaar, I found another spot in the registry that was pointing ProgramData to %SYSTEMDRIVE%\ProgramData, I've changed this to D:\ProgramData, no need to edit the xml now.
