Hello,

I am working with VDR as a TV-system in my living room. But for the kitchen where all the family live takes place MP is much better. Its easier to use and the dia-show is great. But, there is one issue:

Sometimes it seems that MP does not react to remote or keyboard. To understand the problem I started it in window-mode - so MP shows you in the headline of the windows in which menu it is. So I saw that exactly when I thought it would not react to the remote / keyboard the screen was not refreshed and I did "wrong" stuff because I have not seen what I did. Understood?
What I try to explain is that MP reacts to the remote / keyboard but due to the missing screen refresh I do "wrong" things which are not possible in this menu. I can sometimes get around that when I move or resize the MP window.

Any ideas to solve that issue?

I am using Win XP, SP2, german, all updates, MP 0.2.3, ASUS M2A VM with ATI X1250, ATI Remote wonder, IR Server from MP 2

Do you need any more infos to help?

Cheers, Michael

There is a known problem with this Motherboard you are using. Check out the FAQ in the wiki. Here is the link directly to the FAQ

basically, roll back your video driver to 7.2 or if you run the latest version of the driver, then a modified skin is required which removes all reflections from the skin. Thirdly you could upgrade to vista.

7.3 will not work with an unmodified skin.

PM me with an email address and I will email it to you. I promise it is a legitamate file.

this is just the video driver and does not include the extra stuff ATI provide like CCC. What skin are you using as it is probably easier to use a modified skin as there have been many fixes in ATI drivers since this driver was released.
