MP doesn't start anymore (1 Viewer)

MP doesn' start anymore. Since I have installed some skins like Avalon, Avollins etc., and activated one of the skins in MPC, MP didn' t start anymore, I activated in MPC then the default skin and MP started, activated another skin again, MP didn't start again, but at the end it doesn' t start at all, respectively it starts and sometime it doesn't continue and there is no access to, no GUI of MP. When I start MPC a message appears, that MP will be closed.

I did a new installation, but it didn't help. What else could I do?

It sounds like the skin you're trying to use has failed to install the fonts correctly. Look in Configuration and see which one it its, then uninstall it, restart your computer and re-install it and see if it helps.

If Mediaportal doesn't start past the loading screen, then it is the selected skin. To troubleshoot, enable DefaultWide and see if MediaPortal starts.

Okay, I am not quite sure to understand, MP doesn't start anymore, with any skin.

and have you changed skins in mp config back to default skin and saved changes?

Yes, I have changed skins a few times to the default ones. By "save changes" you mean press the OK button in MPC? If not, I would not have saved anything, so where could I save the settings explicitly?

yes you gotta press 'ok' in mp config. i would suggest either run in debug mode + post logs, or reinstall mediaportal ontop of old installation. i suggest 2nd option.
