MP Failing to start (1 Viewer)

Hi Guys,

I have encountered a problem with the bedroom client. It gets to the splashscreen and then stays there.

It was working OK this morning, and I then updated a few plugins via the MPEI interface. The plugins that were updated are:-

• Latest Media Handler
• LAVFilters
• MP TV Series
• UK TV Logos

Never had a problem before updating things.
I have had a look at the logs but nothing is jumping out... any ideas. The GF won't be happy

Try disabling the updated plugins one-by-one ?

That is the first thing I did try, and still no joy.

Have you tried starting MP in debug mode (Start menu -> Team MediaPortal -> MediaPortal -> MediaPortal Debug-mode) ?

(This disables all the third party plug-ins)

No I haven't, I will go and give it a try and report back.

Just reporting back.

Started MP in debug mode and it worked OK. Went back into the config and disabled all plugins and then started renabling them one by one after opeing MP and closing it down again.

Back to a situation where is all is working fine, and all plugins are back working again. WAF is high again!
