TV-Server Version: - MediaPortal Version: 1.0 final MediaPortal Skin: - Windows Version: 32bit Vista SP1 CPU Type: 4850e HDD: Samsung 1TB Memory: 4 Gig Motherboard: Asus 780g Video Card: onboard 780g Video Card Driver: CCC 8.12 Sound Card: Realtek onboard HTPC Case: Ikea Expedit ;-) TV: 42Z5050 TV - HTPC Connection: HDMI Hi there, i'm a MP newbie and would like to try it out. As of now i don't have any tv cards in my htpc but want to watch movies and listen to mp3 and streams. I dl'ed MP 1.0, installed it with no probs BUT when i first launch MP.exe, it asks me to go through the configuration. Two windows are popping up: the MP config splashscreen in the background and a dialog to select which type of configuration i would like to do, normal or advanced. By selecting either one of them and clicking "next", nothing happens. It even crashes and forces me to reset vista because nothing is clickable anymore. So i uninstalled everything and installed it again with TV support but no change. I tried various install options without luck. Does anyone has a tipp what is going wrong here? Thanks in advanced
