MP for Canal Digital NL (1 Viewer)

Hi,

First of all let me explain that i'm a MP newbie, so please don't flame me if this question is allready asked before ... I could not find it in the forum archives anyway.

I'm researching if i can replace my dreambox with a HTPC and MP so i can enjoy the HDTV channels my provider offers me. After reading a lot of articles i'm left with the feeling that DVB-S has some quirks under MP. I really would like to see/hear if someone from NL allready made a similiar setup, so i could use their hardware list as a reference. (If it all works correctly that is

The things i allready own:
P4 3.6Ghz w/ 2048MB RAM
Aston CAM version 1.5
Canal Digital NL smartcard.

FireDTV, Twinhan & TechnoTrend should be fine.
I all depends if you a diseqc requirements

btw, MP only works with MPEG-2 HD atm.
H.264 streams & DVB-S2 will be supported in the next version.
