Thanks.  Running the error-check on the SQL DB fixed the problem - thanks!


Overnight, we had a power-cut and this must have caused the DB problems.


From what I can gather, the Windows errors seem to be related to the power-cut and the fact that I had to 'force' Mediaportal to close.  The new system-checking facility in Windows 8 reports no errors.


I will get some Log files out of MP again tonight and see if the OS errors are still there.
