I was bored, so I decided to update my TV server and 2 TV clients to the newest Release Candidate and the newest SVN version of MediaPortal. Well, that was a stupid idea of course, never touch a running system, bla bla . Anyway, on both clients I have the same issue - MediaPortal indefinitely hangs after

with no error visible in the logs of the clients and the tv server. So I am a bit baffled here, but I hope I oversaw something simple here?

Is that happening always or only when PC has resumed from S3/S4?

So far it happens every time I want to activate Live TV. Haven't even tried it after a S3/S4 resume.

Are you sure that there is no changes in the firewall settings?

Are you sure that there is no changes in the firewall settings?

That error occurs on the first start of MediaPortal (Live TV) after a new installation, when the actual TV server is not set yet (hence the connection refusal to the local machine, which doesn't have a TV server; 192.168.0.8 is the IP of the client of that log).

Any thoughts on how I could debug this further? I am a bit lost here, since the logs don't show any errors. Running at #19603 is fine for me, but I guess I don't want to be stuck on that version for ever

This seems to be resolved in RC3.
