    Hi,
patricon, yup try without 3'rd party's plugins & attach your mediaportal.log & mediaportal.bak log files to your post after a test like that.

I know after screen saver has run here & i use TV, screen ends up black, but in to home & stop media & back, MP fully recovers here.

    Regards
    Roy

I've not noticed till now the bug, so i'm not sure what MP version works fine with that feature. But i think that you can test it with current version and see the bug; i'm sorry for not providing more accourate info... AS i told you before, i've powerscheduler plugin disabled, because i doesn't use TV in MP.

I've just tested it again without any third party plugin activated. I've started MP, and then wait a few minutes until screen saver launches. Then i've pressed ESC key to close screensaver and then screensaver last picture keeps freezed on screen and hangs, but mp is still working in background because i can listen sound feedback when pressing left/right button for example. Then i've pressed Alt+F4 to close MP. I'm using SVN build 15444

NOTE: there is no MediaPortal.bak in log folder, so i've only attached MediaPortal.log. Before doing all tests, i've deleted all log folder contents...

    regards,

It's curious because, i've tested it right now launching the screensaver from My programs plugin (i've created a launcher to my screensaver) and it works fine. The screensaver starts, and then i close it moving mouse or pressing a key and it returns nicely to mp. However if the screensaver is launched by windows, it doesn't return to mp...
