MP hangs when switching to ITV1 (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

Got a niggly issue. Sometimes when switching to ITV1 (DVB-S via Nova DVB-S2/HVR 4400) MP hangs and is unresponsive (visually). You can still hear the nav sound effects in the background if you try and use the remote, but nothing updates on the screen which is hung on the tv guide or channel switcher.

It may not just be this one channel, but i've noticed this channel was selected the past couple of times it's hung. I also get this sometimes when switching to HD channels, but i've not been able to reproduce it.

MPEG-2 codec for TV is currently "Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder", which I assume is what is being used for DVB streams. I did try some other codecs whilst trying to diagnose some HD channel playback issues (green lines, glitchy playback), but results varied from no playback at all to sketchy. I don't know if the two problems are related, but I don't wish to cloud the issue.

I've attached some logs if anyone would be kind enough to investigate for me.

And just now I went back into MP and tried to select ITV1+1 straight from the guide and it hung again, logs attached. Note I haven't rebooted since the previous hang above, but have forced the MP process to end without reboot.

Hmm, can't think of anything specific to ITV1 that would cause this. Have you tried the various regional versions of ITV1?

Also, try using LAV Filters (in DXVA2 Native mode) for all video and audio decoding (including AAC LATM) and see if the problem persists.
