MP imdb database (1 Viewer)

hi just setting up a media centre for my folks back home (they liked mine so much), and i was just wondering if there was anyway to save the imdb database that MP creates to the external harddrive that i will be sending to my folks. so all they need to do is plug it in and aweay it goes with all the info about the movies and actors.

Maybe look into MovingPictures plugin which may solve your problems sometime in soon future.

You can copy the videodatabase from docs&settings\all users\application data\team mediaportal\mediaportal\database\"videodatabase.db3" (or something like that)
But you would need to copy "docs&settings\all users\application data\team mediaportal\mediaportal\thumbs\video\.." as well.
And lastly the paths that your movies is stored in at your current HTPC, have to be the same at your second location.

If they can manage to place all this stuff where it belongs, the YES its doable
