[confirm] MP is too slow at adding music files to playlist (1 Viewer)

Comparing to previous versions the 1.2.0 is too slow when adding music to the playlist and when then shuffling it (less than 1 minute for adding all the genres earlier vs. 1 hour in 1.2.0).
Here's the log:
- "add all" was chosen,
- MP started playing the first song,
- MP freezed for a long time,
- I killed the process.

I tried the same on another PC where the files are placed with the same result.

I am struggling to replicate this. I have just added several thousand files to a playlist by selecting a genre and adding to playlist and then repeating with a few other genres and playback started almost instantly and all seemed to work fine.

Can you (a) provide proper debug logs (via the start menu) and (b) clarify exactly how you are adding items to the playlist

My config is:
PC 1 (\\anton-bung\), which is the file-server with 1 Tb of mp3s,
PC 2 (\\bung\), which is the client with MP installed.

I add music in two ways:
WAY 1 (genre by genre) using
- option 1 ("Добавить в плейлист" (Add to playlist)) or 3 ("Играть следующим" (Play next)) - works - and then
- shuffling the playlist - MP freezes, if many genres are added.
WAY 2 (all genres) using option 2 ("Добавить все в плейлист" (Add all to playlist)) - MP freezes, when I press "Текущий плейлист" (Current playlist) or when I shuffle the playlist.

Below I post logs of WAY2.
- app. at 10.34.16 I added all genres to playlist,
- at 10.34.49 the first song played,
- at 10.36.59 the second song started and I chose "Текущий плейлист" (Current playlist) to shuffle music, which caused MP to freeze,
- the second somg finished some time later, the third didn't start,
- at 11.01.59 I killed MP.

You may also use attached SYSLOG-file with system info and MP logs joined together, which was made by my still underdone monitoring system.
The first line is the name of the column, "|" is the field delimiter.

ahhh so it is shuffling that is taking the time not adding files to playlist?
I am away on business at the moment but will look at this later in the week (although I do not believe there have been any changes in shuffling between 1.1 and 1.2)

Is this in 1.2 beta and not latest SVN ??

I can't say exactly what was the cause ot freezing - making the playlist or shuffling it.

At first, I had "auto shuffle" checked and MP freezed not when I opened current playlist, but later when I pressed "shuffle".

Now I had the option unchecked and today MP freezed when I pressed "current playlist".
So no shuffling was made.

I use 1.2 ALPHA, 'cause I never use SVNs.
