The SET HD logo is the old Latin American one, here's the right one and a rough DRF1 logo.

As mentioned before, I can't access the plugin from MP 1.9.0 directly, neither via MPConfig nor from within

What plugin have you installed? post a screenshot of MPEI where this plugin is visible as installed.
In Log there is no any attempt to initialize it, so i assume there is no plugin DLL in the plugins folder.

Maybe something is wrong with the installation but I wait with de-install in case you would like to check somethig first

You need to uninstall the old 'Deutsches Logo Pack (TV, Radio)' plugin and install LogoManager, there are some English instructions here https://code.google.com/p/mediaportal-uk-logos#Instructions

Ah, now I got it.

Was mislead, as every time I started the "Deutsches Logo Pack.mpe1" in the Release folder he didn't complained besides of a re-update

Completely missed that there is a different app now for the management.
