    Hi,

i have no problem to use MP with my config but after using it, MP freezes the whole box when being idle after a while.

If i close MP, no problem no freeze no crash, but if i don't close MP (one day 30 minutes another one 2 hours) the screen is frozen, no connectivity no response to the keyboard, no mouse... No idea :-(.

Is anybody ever got this problem ? I ran MP in debug mode but didn't get any files due to the frozen box..

    Regards.

    Etienne

As team-mediaportal has gone past MP0.2.3.0 and is working on MP1, no help will be given from us, if you do not need TVServer, then do not select HDTV or any other TV options and you will get just the updated MP with MyTV.

    Regards

ps is anything set to go to sleep windows setting wise.

I have upgraded my box to newest version of mediaportal but still have this random crash when computer is idle..
I have to close MP to keep my pc running...

I also opened a thread for "scritchy" sound when playing music.. Don't know how to descibe it.. Got no problème without MP (ie just with winamp by ex.)

I think it's a directx problem, but all drivers are upgraded directX too...
(i tested meedio and sound is ok like idle computer... i think major difference between meedio and mediaportal is the using of directx .. )

    Regards,
