    Hello,

Not sure what is wrong here, and since there is no crash, maybe it's just a settings issue...

When I browse my shares for all movie files, I see all my divx files correctly, but when starting to play them, MP gets minimized to tray. Used to work fine in 0.2.3.

I can bring MP back using my mouse, but then playback stops.

I was a bit worried last night as I migrated from 0.2.3. latest to RC2, but everything else seems to work as it should :D

Apparently this was due to the VobSub filter in the "movies" post-processing features. Deactivated it and Divx files play just fine again.

I thought I needed the VobSub filter to use subtitles in mkv files, and this broke the divx playback...

    Learning by trial and error...

Please don't mark this as fixed. Having to disable something does not mean it is fixed. I and others have similar problems and do not have any post-processing enabled.

Me too having same problem (minimize MP when playing divx), but i've only the divx 6.8 free codec installed.
    I've not installed VOBSUB filter

I think the problem is due to the divx traybar icon, that keep the focus.
Solved by using "DivX Toolbar Toggle Tool"

But now i've another issue: Playing .avi or .mkv with many codecs (divx 6.8, ffdshow rev.2045, arcsoft codecs) i've only a big vertical black bar on monitor. Audio is OK.

Do you use special settings or other to avoid this?

    Thank you

Have you got haali media splitter installed.

which graphics card are you using, if ATI then use either 8.5 or 8.7 releases.

Good idea, I'll have a play with that, maybe just turning off Divx navigation, and Divx feature notification will help. Should have some time in the next couple of days to confirm if it sorts my issue.

I am on nvidia, Haali media splitter is installed.
