Hi,

ive just install mediaportal client on my laptop, 2.2GHz dual core, 2gb memory, vista 64 bit. when i tried to start MP it froze at loading window plugins. media portal configuration also crashed when i click on plugins. i removed all the plugins from the plugin dir in mediaportal installation folder, added the back one by one and found tvplugin.dll to be the cause of the crashes.

any ideas as to why this is?

im currently running a MP server and client on my desktop computer also running Vista 64 bit. that computer was running well until today, which is why i tried to install a client on my laptop.. mediaportal is really seeming like its not worth the trouble.. but if anyone can help it would be appreciated.

yea thought so :) forgot to post them.. heres a zip of the logs on the desktop. i started the watchdog, started mediaportal and when it froze i killed the process in task manager. (otherwise it would never close itself, just says not responding in task manager)

i reinstalled the tv server on my desktop pc, now mediaportal opens alright on my laptop, but cant play tv or recordings. it just freezes. it appears to be crashing when trying to open the stream, taken from the logs: TSReaderPlayer: open file: rtsp://tv/stream1.0

any ideas? im guessing this is associated with the issue on my desktop pc, but instead of freezing and just sitting there like the laptop, vista says its stopped. heres a link to the thread about it: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...tv-worked-until-i-changed-audio-device-51176/

logs are attached
