Ok, MP MyTV crashed immediately using 8.12 drivers.
I have gone back to 0.2.3 RC3 and everything is OK, no freezing, no stuttering or crashing.

I have attached the logs (again) and hopefully one of the devs can look at them once the xmas break is over as there are somethings I miss from 1.0 and I would like to use it again sometime, but I need my TV to be reliable and for me 1.0 is seriously unstable.

Just relieved, no more family nagging at me :)

    final crash logs attached.

Im happy to do some more testing, but only when the logs have been looked at and I have some feedback on things to try as I don't understand the inner workings of the whole MP TV routines

Please try using ATI Avivo or PDVD as video codec and ffdshow as audio codec and attach fresh logs with this new cfg.

Will do, though will wait until I have a spare time slot when the wife and kids are out for a while, after 3 days of no TV I dare not muck it up again so soon now that it is working.
My gut feeling is that it is not the nvidia pure video as it was installed in an effort to solve the issues I was having, ie they were there before using the inbuilt decoders supplied with MP. I have changed so many settings in an effort to solve this I cant remember what settings are in each log file.
Any chance you can check the other logs as well Chemelli? See if there is a common cause to this or if each crash is different?
I will post back when I have some more results...

This sounds like the same problem I have. I am using 1.0 Final and changing channel 1-5 times or going back/forward (30 sec to 15 min) multiple times freezes MP. TVServer is running fine. Starting the TV Server config and hitting preview on a channel work perfectly even though MP Client is dead (showing last frame).

The same thing is happening with RC4 and if have tried reinstalling MP several times.
