MP not Finding Music files (1 Viewer)

One step forward, one back

Thank you to those that suggested the CVS download. Newb did not know about that. I'll keep that in mind for future probs.

New problem - Now that My Music shows the various views like Artist or Album properly, the album art only shows when using the Shares view. In the Artist view (and others) the album art shows when looking at the song level but not the Album level.

Any help woould be appreciated.

reason is that the jpg in the thumbs\muci\albums folder are not named correctly.
For every song, having a picture in the tag, 2 files are created in this folder.
Problem is that it should not only be the album name but a combination of artist and album.
For example i have in my directory 2 files from an AC-DC album:
Bonfire.jpg and BonfireL.jpg

if i rename them to:
AC-DC-Bonfire.jpg and AC-DC-BonfireL.jpg, they show up in the Artist/album view as well.

I think SteveV is aware of that, but most probably the fix will not make it for the 0.2 Release.

A workaround may be to use the Cover Art Grabber, from the share View.
this will create the right jpg file exactly in the way as described above.
but that's probably an overkill, since you have tagged your files already anyhow.

EDIT: Made a change in the code on my system. Works fine. Sent a message to SteveV to change it. Hopefully it makes it into CVS soon.

Album Art Problem Is A Known Issue

Thank you. It is good to know when a problem is known. No complaints here. So far my MP experience is well worth the price

It would be nice to get this fixed in the release or a CVS but I suspect as complicated as it is to get it all working, there are other priorities

My next effort will be in getting the TV/PVR part working.

Does MP allow the user to select a movie folder (representing a DVD ripped with DVD Decryter) and the movie starts playing (like PowerDVD)?
