Hi thelili

I guess your Radeon 9250 does not support DirectX 9 HW acceleration. You have installed the drivers, but since you have no support in the graphics card the rendering is done by the CPU.

you have to turn on full HW-acceleration...

press start --> run --> write dxdiag and press enter --> look under the display-tab, i think 2k3 has D3D disabled as standard...

You might have to enable something more somewhere, there's some good guides if you search for it att google, how you can turn a 2k3-machine into a XP-compatible one...

The correct way to enable Hardware Acceleration is under the display properties.

Right Click on Desktop -> Properties -> Settings -> Advanced -> Troubleshoot

Move the slider all the way to the right.

thats wrong! i have already do it with the slider. but i think that ws 2003 let the directdraw support deactivated allready.

so you must go to the dxdiag menu.

    :p
