Hi,

I am having some issues with MP when using OnlineVideos to download videos. It starts okay, and will get some way into the download before I get the ever so helpful windows message
MediaPortal has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
It almost always crashes and seems to happen with both Watch-Series and Movie25 (have not tried any other sites)
I running windows 7 (64 bit) with
Mediaportal 1.11.0
Titan Skin (but I have tried others - same issue)
LAVFilters 0.64.0.0
MediaPortal IPTV filter and url splitter 2.1.10.5620
OnlineVideos 2.0.0.0

I have had a look through the logs but can't see anything, and I was hoping someone might have some suggestions as to what to look at, or check.

Logs attached for one download that failed

Any suggestions greatly appreciated
Thanks
Steve

    Hello and welcome Steve :)

    Thanks for the detailed report.
Could you please use the provided watchdog/debug tool to grab the log files:
    http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_MEDIAPORTAL_1/16_Support/3_Forums/2_Log_Files

Option 3 (export existing log files to zip) should be sufficient.

I ask you to do this because the watchdog will include the all-important-for-debugging-crashes Windows application event log... as well as your MediaPortal configuration file, all the log files etc.

    Regards,
    mm

    Thanks mm!
Attached are updated logs generated with Option 3 of the watchdog tool.

    That's perfect, thanks. :)

Unfortunately the message in the Windows application event log is quite generic:
    [collapse]"7/06/2015 10:54:27 AM";".NET Runtime";"(0)";"Error";"Application: MediaPortal.exe
    Framework Version: v4.0.30319

Exception Info: exception code c0000005, exception address 4D000150

This tells me MP crashed due to an access violation exception (c0000005)... but it doesn't tell me what caused this ("Faulting module name: unknown"). :(

I'm not an expert with OnlineVideos. Hopefully somebody who is will be able to assist further than I can. Sorry I'm not able to be more helpful.

Firstly thanks mm for trying to help!

For what it is worth, and if anyone else is having similar issues, I had the same issue on two separate Windows 7 64bit installs (as above), I installed "MPUrlSourceSplitter1.0.0.3312.mpe1" and that seems to have fixed the issue.

I was under the impression that "MediaPortal IPTV filter and url splitter" was a replacement for MPUrlSourceSplitter. Is that not the case?

    Thanks
    Steve
